
Project Summary
The Client
Founders Sarah and Yvonne wanted to bring their shared coaching skills together under one banner, Cochivator.
The Brief
Clean and simple while reflecting energy and movement. The idea is that our coaching will move people forward or help them get unstuck or shift their mindset or perspective.
Design Thinking
The logo is based on the coaching journey and a sense of forward motion it brings. The round circle represents a new idea firing like an electric impulse firing within a neuron. Here the circle is moving from a closed of space to an open one and a transition into a growth powered colour, while the letters are rounded, human and approachable.
Challenges
The logo was originally designed in isolation, and a year later, Yvonne and Sarah were ready to launch. When they returned, they wanted a leaflet to promote their services and a series of editable templates (Canva) for social media. As they were not yet sure of the direction parts of the business might take, a more detailed visual language and wider identity were not easy to identify at this stage. Therefore, I decided to create a flexible system that utilised the geometric forms within the logo. These each mirror the curve of the logo, giving a sense of energy and a human, rounded approachability.
Outcomes
The client was delighted with the outcomes, as it allowed them to launch the business with a stronger brand presence and with their introductory offer (leaflet) in place for new clients when they run workshops and deliver presentations.
